Ovoid or oblong berry 7 to 10 cm. Shell thick, soft, bright green that turns yellow when ripe and can be peeled like a banana. The flesh is firm and fleshy, with small black seeds, is yellow or red depending on the variety. Its flavor is mild, pleasant, fragrant and slightly acidic.
Natural or consumed as juice, nectar, concentrate and spirits as well as with other fruit juices and sorbets. It is also used as an ingredient in cakes and confectionery.
