Family: Saxifragaceae.
Baya small oval surrounded by fine «hairs» predominanate whose color is yellow but are also white, red or green. Pulp agriculce flavor.
Being a little sweet fruit is not normally consumed fresh but it is used to make jellies, jams, cakes, sorbets and syrups. Is added to puddings, salads and chutneys. They are also used as a garnish for meat and fish.
