Mushroom with a shape similar to a cap of cava, a large hat with brown to black and with a size of between 6 and 20 cm, convex, very meaty and robust viscous surface. White meat, firm and hard.
This is one of the most appreciated mushrooms both its flavor and its texture. Widely used for flavoring dishes and sauces. Rissottos excellent. It can be eaten raw but in quantity can be indigestible.
